Do you just provide services in Cumbria?

Although we are based in Cumbria, we deliver our services to clients across the UK and around the world. Whether you are nearby or operating internationally, we provide the same professional, reliable support tailored to your requirements.

Are your Fire Risk Assessments quality assured?

Quality-Assured Fire Risk Assessments

Every fire risk assessment we complete is quality checked by our Managing Director, who has 26 years’ experience in the fire safety industry. A Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers, alongside other professional memberships, he brings extensive knowledge and practical auditing experience to every review. This robust quality assurance process helps ensure that our assessments are accurate, thorough and aligned with current fire safety requirements.

Is your Confined Space Training accredited?

Yes, City & Guilds is the qualification most commonly requested for confined space work. However, we believe that our Rescue 3 Europe accredited qualifications offer a more practical, hands-on approach and are not limited to a single industry. This can make them particularly valuable for individuals and organisations working across a wider range of confined space environments.

Is the IOSH Behavioural Science for Safety Leadership course certificated?

Yes, once you have successfully completed the course and passed the online examination, you will receive an IOSH certificate.

How long has Charlton Safety been operating? Why haven't I heard of the company before?

Charlton Safety Ltd is the rebranded name of Kalahari Global Insights Ltd, which was established in 2022. In 2026, the company was renamed to reflect the Managing Director’s renewed focus on serving clients across the UK, with a particular emphasis on Cumbria.

Do you provide Fire training?

Does Charlton Safety ltd provide COMAH and DSEAR Training or advice?

Our training helps teams understand their responsibilities and prepare for the requirements associated with the regulations. We also carry out dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) risk assessments and can provide practical advice on both COMAH and DSEAR compliance, helping your organisation identify risks, understand its duties and take appropriate action.
